

ABOUT
Daffy-Jill's Garden Club of Tryon, NC is a 501c3 non-profit volunteer organization founded in 1955. We are a federated garden club, being a member of the North Carolina Garden Club and National Garden Clubs, Inc., and its South Atlantic Region of National Garden Clubs, Inc.

We are an active club with members from all around Polk County, NC. Membership has no restrictions based upon race, color, creed, religion, gender, age, or national origin. All are invited and welcome to join us!

National Garden Clubs, Inc. is the largest volunteer gardening organization of gardeners in the world and comprises 50 state garden clubs and the National Capital Area, with 5,000-member garden clubs, and 165,000 members. Additionally, NGC has 60 national affiliated organizations within the United States and nearly 330 international affiliated organizations with locations ranging around the globe including: Canada, Mexico, South America, Bermuda, South Africa, Australia, and Japan.

OUR MISSION AND OBJECTIVES

The formal mission and objectives of The Garden Club of North Carolina, Inc. are:

to provide a non-profit, philanthropic and educational association for the members.

to study, in all its aspects, the art of gardening, particularly horticulture, and to cooperate with agencies furthering such interest.

to encourage environmental improvement through civic development, beautification, restoration and the protection and conservation of our natural resources.

and to assist in educating the youth of our state in the areas of garden club activity.
