FENCE Community Pollinator Garden
The Foothills Equestrian Nature Center (F.E.N.CE) is a 384-acre preserve nestled in the beautiful foothills in Tryon, North Carolina. Daffy-Jills maintains the pollinator garden at FENCE.
Polk County Library Floral Arrangements and Christmas Tree
Daffy-Jills provides monthly member designed floral displays as well as annual nature themed holiday trees.
Tryon, NC Post Office
In 2019 Daffy-Jills volunteered to update the Tryon, NC post office garden design. The club now maintains the space.
Columbus, NC Doughboy Garden
The Polk County Doughboy statue honors soldiers from Polk County killed in WW1. The statue was erected in 1925 at the Polk County courthouse and in 2017 the Polk County Board of Commissioners restored the statue. During the restoration the Daffy Jill's Garden Club took over the maintenance of the surrounding garden.
Annual Scholarship
Daffy-Jills provides an annu support community youth horticulture learning opportunities.
Community Support
Daffy-Jills works with community organizations such as 4H to support local restoration and garden projects.
